Epicurean Pumpkin Fight Is Almost Here!

Pumpkin FightTampa’s Top Chef Pumpkin Fight is back again for its second year! Top chefs from local Tampa Bay restaurants will engage in the ultimate pumpkin-carving battle, all to benefit Feeding Tampa Bay.

Below are all the details you need to know about the Pumpkin Fight at the Epicurean Hotel, and how you can enter to WIN dinner for two at each of the 23 participating restaurants. (Seriously, that’s easily over $2,000 in dinners out… wow!)

I even had a chance to catch up with last year’s winner, Bonnie McCredie and her best friend, Lucy Dowie, about their experience dining out at all those restaurants, but that story is for tomorrow’s blog — so stay tuned!

Anyone can attend and should attend this event. Just stop by the Epicurean Hotel on October 28, 29 and 30 (until 5 p.m. on the 30th) and vote for your favorite pumpkin carvingcreated by some of Tampa Bay’s best chefs.  There is a minimum “suggested” donation of $5 per ballotwith all proceeds benefiting Feeding Tampa Bay. The winner will be announced at the annual Monster Splash on October 30 at the Epicurean Hotel.  Although you don’t have to be there to win, it will be a spook-tacular event you don’t want to miss!

These Tampa Bay restaurants are participating in the Pumpkin Fight this year: Z-Grille, Haven, Cena, Tampa Marriott Waterside, Parkshore Grill, The Mill Restaurant, Restaurant BT, Datz, Roux, Locale Market, FarmTable Kitchen, Cru Cellars, Irish 31, Piquant, Bella’s Italian Cafe, Bern’s Steak House, Cask Social, The Birch & Vine, Eddie V’s, Taps American Brasserie at International Plaza, Pelagia Trattoria, Cigar City Brewing and Cigar City Brewpub.
