Sweet Valentine’s & Galentine’s Day Offerings at Epicurean Hotel

Tampa’s Epicurean Hotel is offering some Valentine’s and Galentine’s Day options perfect for friends and couples alike.

The hotel’s Élevage SoHo Kitchen & Bar is celebrating the holiday with a special three-course prix fixe menu , along with their regular dinner menu. Available Friday, Feb. 14, and Saturday, Feb. 15, the Valentine’s menu includes:

Choice of One Starter – King Crab with Butternut Squash Gnocchi, Lobster Mushroom, and Crab Sauce; Le Roots Arugula with Marinated Goat Cheese, Clementine, and Pistachio; or Wagyu Tartare with Smoked Shoyu, Black Garlic, and Taro Root Chips. Kaluga Caviar with Blini, House Made Crème Fraîche and Accoutrement can be added as a supplement for $85.

Choice of One Entrée – Iberico Skirt Steak ($85) with Okinawa Sweet Potato, and Hibiscus BBQ; Bacon Wrapped Osso Bucco ($78) with Mascarpone Polenta, Baby Spinach, and Confit Tomato; Poulet Rouge Half Chicken ($69) with Wild Mushroom, Root Vegetable Hash, Mushroom, and Chicken Jus; or Holland Dover Sole ($90) with Pomme Puree, Frisée, and Razor Clam Brown Butter

Choice of One Dessert – White Chocolate Mousse with Angel Food Cake and Champagne Macerated Strawberries; Flourless Red Velvet Brownie with Cream Cheese Ganache and Dark Chocolate Sauce; or Raspberry-Almond Crème Brulée with Amaretto and Almond Crunch

The hotel’s state-of-the-art Epicurean Theatre is also hosting two fun-filled events over Valentine’s Day weekend:

Painting & Vino – Perfect for a date night or a night out with the gals, Tampa’s own Jessie Taylor will lead a beginner’s art class where each guest will paint a unique piece to take home. For $60, each attendee receives two complimentary glasses of wine, paired with light cheese and charcuterie. The canvas and painting supplies will be provided. Reservations can be made online.

Coffee Connoisseur – Coffee lovers can come together for a class unveiling the secrets of coffee’s history, different varieties and roasting methods. Ulli Winckler is the master roaster at Dean St. Coffee Roastery at Luminary Hotel & Co., the president of Rebel Coffee in Cape Coral, and an internationally awarded coffee specialist with 38 years of experience. Attendees will explore a tasting flight of eight different coffees from the rare to the exotic, enjoy a live roasting demonstration, unlimited coffee, two pastries per guest, and a personalized Coffee Connoisseur certificate. Cost is $30. Tickets are limited, registration can be found online.

Spa Evangeline is offering a few treatments highlighting wellness and togetherness during the month of February. Seasonal specials include the Romantic Renewal couples massage and the Gal-entine’s Getaway that includes both a massage and facial.
