WHO: Epicurean Hotel, located in the trendy Hyde Park historic district of South Tampa
What: Epicurean Hotel is marking its 10-year anniversary with a hotel-wide soirée celebrating all things epicurean, but most especially food and wine. The ticketed event will include full bars, specialty cocktails, heavy hors d’oeuvres, and entertainment by musician Jariah Higgins. Guests will mix and mingle throughout the hotel, including Bern’s Fine Wine & Spirits, Epicurean Theatre, the Library, Élevage SoHo Kitchen & Bar, and Élevage Patio. The icing on the cake will be a preview of Epicurean’s new expansion.
The 10-year anniversary party coincides with the opening of the hotel’s $21 million expansion – Epicurean’s “second course.” Located directly across Howard Avenue from Epicurean’s 137-room main hotel, the expansion adds 51 new guest rooms and suites, a private lobby, meeting space, and rooftop terrace. Incorporating two fully restored apartment buildings, the new four-story structure features a classic, crisp white exterior, historic façade and adds two floors of parking with an additional 91 spaces.
Party guests who want to take the elevator home can book a room for the evening with rates starting at $199.
When: Thursday, Jan. 4, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
