The EPIC Summer Cooking Series began Monday, June 12, with a hotel orientation given by General Manager Shawn Routten. The final cooking class takes place Monday, June 26, which will include a graduation celebration. Founded by Vicki Anzalone, Where Love Grows is part of the coalition led by Feeding Tampa Bay and the USF Center for Healthy Communities and Food Security, whose goal is to end hunger in Tampa Bay by 2025. Where Love Grows has served more than 33,000 meals and hosted over 1,700 attendees through their mobile/virtual cooking program. WhereLoveGrows.org.

What: For the eighth year, Epicurean Hotel is hosting the “EPIC Summer Cooking Series,” which consists of four hands-on cooking classes for 24 children from the local Boys & Girls Clubs. A partnership between the Epicurean and local nonprofit Where Love Grows, the classes are designed to teach children about healthy eating and how to prepare easy, healthy meals for themselves at home. Each class includes expert instruction by an Epicurean Hotel chef.
