TAMPA, Fla. (June 28, 2017) – The Epicurean Hotel announced today the appointment of Kevin Scott as general manager of the 137-room boutique hotel. Scott will oversee the hiring of new staff and day-to-day operations of the Epicurean, located in the trendy Hyde Park historic district of South Tampa. Tom Haines, previous general manager of the Epicurean, has been promoted to vice president of operations of Mainsail Lodging & Development, Epicurean’s parent company.
With 13 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Scott comes to the Epicurean from the Hotel Max in Seattle, where he worked for three years as the general manager. Read more…

Cooking Competition Pairs Local Chefs and Residents to Benefit Hillsborough County Center of Excellence
The Hillsborough County Center of Excellence and the Epicurean Hotel are partnering with celebrity chef Max Hardy and FOX 13 anchor Russell Rhodes to host “Chefs for Excellence” cooking competition.
