Kevin Pelley is a twenty-plus year veteran of the Tampa food and wine community. Upon graduating from the University of South Florida, Kevin started working for Bern’s Steak House and quickly entered their wine department as General Manager of Bern’s Fine Wines & Spirits and as Wine Director of SideBern’s restaurant, where he earned annual ‘Best of Awards of Excellence’ from Wine Spectator and ‘Unique Award of Distinction’ from Wine Enthusiast. Kevin has completed Levels I and II with the Court of Master Sommeliers, earning his Certified Sommelier certification. He also passed the Introduction to Winemaking Course with the University of California, Davis. Additionally, Kevin is a Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) and has achieved WSET III Advanced (Wine and Spirits Education Trust). After fifteen years with Bern’s Steak House, Kevin joined Republic National Distributing Company in 2015 as the Tampa Luxury Specialist.
